Thanks so much to everyone who has donated winter coats for others who are in need. Above are a few pictures from collected coats that were recently distributed via our partnership with the City Rescue Mission.

Coats are still needed! Will you help by donating your clean used winter coats? We need men’s, women’s and children’s sizes that you may have outgrown or may be just taking up space in your closet. Please give to someone who needs them to stay warm. Drop off your clean new or used coats to the SERVE counter in the Atrium.

Preparation for Marriage

This class is for engaged couples as well as those considering marriage and anyone seeking to learn more about marriage. It is a requirement for anyone getting married at Christ’s Church or by a Christ’s Church minister. Topics covered will include spiritual foundations for marriage, conflict resolution, family finances, parenting, myths and realities of marriage, communication, and more. The Principles of Jesus’ Way

We will be partnering with the American Red Cross as part of a nationwide effort to distribute Fire Prevention and Safety materials in an effort in reducing fires and promoting home safety. We will also be helping to renovate the “Peaches-Na-Basket Adult Care Center” on Soutel Drive. In a world were temptations and peer pressure surround us daily... and the line between right and wrong often seems thin, how do we cope? How do we deal with the tough stuff, the real stuff? Yeah, we’re talking about the stuff that real teens are facing in Real Life! Things like drugs and alcohol, dealing with crisis, pornography, sex, becoming a person of character, and dealing with negative influences that seek to
lead us astray. It’s not easy but the truth is clear.

7th - 12th grade students are encouraged to join us starting January 20 for REAL LIFE, a 6-week series each Wednesday at 6:30pm, teaching students how to deal with real issues. For questions, contact David at DavidL@CContheWeb.com.
