As we study through the book of James we are going to be confronted with the question...are you living an authentic faith? In the book of James he called out the first century church to be who Jesus desired them to be and to quit wavering in their walk...quit being hypocrites.

The truth of this book is as applicable today as it was nearly 2000 years ago. We live in a world of duplicity and desperately need truth and authenticity to prevail. James lays out the basics that every Christ-follower should examine and then insert into their life.

We are going to be challenged and inspired to put our faith into action through this study and live an authentic life. Join us...

Ascension Worship - Hope is Alive Concert

Friday, July 20 – 6:45pm until 9:00pm at Christ’s Church

Join us at Christ’s Church Mandarin Campus on Friday, July 20 at 6:45pm for a free worship concert experience with Ascension Worship, part of the “Hope is Alive” tour. All ages are encouraged to attend. Admission is free.

Mom to Mom is a ministry for moms with children of all ages, from babies to adults. It is designed around the Titus 2:4 concept of women encouraging and mentoring other women in their relationships with their husbands and children. Through instruction in parenting, small group discussion, and fellowship, Mom to Mom provides a place of nurture for women to find support, learn from each other, and build lasting friendships while growing in their walk with God.

Mom to Mom will meet every 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Wednesday of the month from 9:30-11:30am in the Dining Hall starting September 5th.

Membership Annual Dues are $50. Childcare included.

Youth Indoor Soccer, Pre-K - 4th Grade

Sign up now for Youth Indoor Soccer - Pre-K through 4th grade. The season will run from July 17th - August 18th, with games/practices every Saturday morning and the following Tuesday evenings for Pre-K and K-1st grades and Thursday evenings for 2-4th. Cost is $55. Register Here.

Second Harvest Food Bank and Mandarin Food Bank Donations

Christ's Church donates non-perishable food items each month to these locations. This time of year donations go down, but the need is still high. Child & Babysitting Safety Course

Geared towards students ages 11-15, this course is a fun and interactive way for students to learn necessary skills to help them in their babysitting ventures. Upon successful completion, students will receive official certification cards from the American Safety and Health Institute. Cost is $40. For more information about the course topics, go here. Recycled Paper

Did you know that you can help Christ’s Church generate additional funds to help those in need simply by recycling your paper with us? Well, you can. Put all your magazines, catalogs, newspapers, old mail, office and schools papers in the Recycle container located at the Christ’s Church business office. Not sure where that is? Call 268-2500 or stop by the Welcome Center for details. *Paper only please, no cardboard.

Christ's Church has a database of people looking for work. Those on the list will receive job leads, encouragement, and job search ideas and resources.
